About the Secondary Transfer Test
The Buckinghamshire grammar schools use a single county-wide 11+ exam called the Secondary Transfer Test (STT). The test assesses:
- Verbal skills
- Non-verbal skills
- Mathematical ability
Scores are age-standardised into the STTS. A score of 121 or above indicates grammar-school eligibility.
